Update, Oct. 21 Since publication: OpenAI's own announcement wording is now on the record — 'We've acquired Orchestra Bio, a platform that helps biopharma teams coordinate the complex process of drug development. Together, we'll build on Rosalind… to streamline those operations and help new treatments reach patients' (via Interesting Engineering, Oct 20), and Orchestra's own note says 'Agents can handle planning, orchestration, and analysis, while scientists and program leaders focus on the decisions that require their expertise' — adding the company started 'four years ago' (via WebProNews). One caveat to add to this piece's customer claims: D-CSIL's briefing notes OpenAI 'cites work with Moderna and Novo Nordisk without identifying them as Rosalind customers,' so read the Moderna/Novo Nordisk/Amgen lines above as announced partnerships, not confirmed Rosalind seats.
