Natura's $99 Ring Orders Shampoo While You Shower

Image
By Daniel Rao The pitch sounds like a dare: a $99 ring that lets you order shampoo mid-shower without touching your phone. Natura, a seven-person hardware startup from Italy, unveiled Interface this week — a smart ring that turns a finger-press into a direct line to your AI agents. If the idea sounds familiar, that's because the industry has been circling it for years. The difference is that Natura wants to sell it to you before the year is out, for less than the cost of a decent pair of sneakers. Announced on 8 October, Interface is worn on the index finger and pairs with a phone. You press its button, speak, release — and the request is routed through Natura's NatureOS software to whichever AI agent you chose: Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grok Bot, Claude or ChatGPT, with a 140-strong agent store promised at launch. It also tracks heart rate, HRV, sleep stages and skin temperature, lasts up to 12 days on a charge, and recharges in about 100 minutes. Natura plans to open ...

Published October 10, 2026 · By Daniel Rao, TechPulse USA On a Friday when Wall Street was celebrating a tech rebound, three stocks were getting crushed — and the culprit wasn't earnings or the economy. It was a post on X. Late Thursday, Elon Musk's SpaceX announced it had agreed to buy a nationwide portfolio of low-band wireless spectrum, the missing ingredient for turning Starlink Mobile into a genuine fourth US carrier. By Friday's closing bell, T-Mobile had fallen more than 13% , AT&T nearly 1...

Claude Went Dark for an Hour: Inside Anthropic's Second Major Outage in Seven Days

Claude Went Dark for an Hour: Inside Anthropic's Second Major Outage in Seven Days On Tuesday morning, Claude stopped working. Not just the chatbot — the web app, the desktop and mobile apps, the coding tool, the developer API, all of it. For roughly an hour, one of the most widely used AI systems in the world was effectively unreachable, and Anthropic's own status page read like a real-time incident log. The trouble began at 10:21 a.m. Eastern, when Anthropic started investigating what it described as "elevated error rates" across claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork and the Claude API. About ninety minutes later, the company said everything was back to normal. In between came failed requests, broken logins, unsaved conversations, and a warning to users that read, simply: if you're signed in, please don't sign out. It was the second significant Claude outage in seven days — and, according to incident trackers, the 13th entry on Anthropic's status p...

Reuters reported on September 24, first citing Axios, that the meeting is set for September 29, and a White House official has since confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the meeting will take place. Image: TechPulse USA FREE AI TRAINING One of America's biggest employers just offered the workforce a deal that sounds too good to be true: premium AI training, free — if you know where to claim it. Published September 24, 2026 · By Daniel Rao There is a delicious irony buried in the biggest corporate AI-reskilling pledge of the year. The company writing the check — $70 million — is the same one that cut 13,000 jobs last year and set up a $20 million fund to retrain the very workers it was letting go. On September 23, 2026 , Verizon CEO Dan Schulman tripled the total, announcing AI Skills for America , a nationwide program offering free AI training to job seekers, students, educators, small businesses, and displaced workers. The training comes from a lineup Verizon could never assemble alone: course co...

Published September 23, 2026 · By Daniel Rao The letter arrived on September 17 , and nobody in the hardware business is smiling about it. According to supply-chain reports, AMD quietly notified partners of roughly 10% price increases starting Q4 2026 — on AI accelerators, Radeon graphics cards, and motherboard chipsets. The cause, per the reports: TSMC is raising foundry prices by about 10% , and AMD is not absorbing the difference. Here is the part that stings. The increase lands October 1 , right as the holiday shopping season begins — two weeks after AMD crossed the $1 trillion market cap mark on September 21, with shares topping $600 for the ...
